Version: September 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before booking your SHAVAT METHOD™ Professional Practitioner Certification.

By completing your booking and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

For the purposes of these Terms, references to statutory consumer rights apply only where you are legally acting as a consumer and the relevant consumer protection legislation applies to your booking.

A person booking wholly or mainly for purposes relating to their existing trade, business, craft or profession may be booking in a business capacity rather than as a consumer.

Whether a participant is legally acting as a consumer depends on the circumstances and the main purpose of the booking.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict statutory consumer rights where they apply.

1. PROFESSIONAL TRAINING & CERTIFICATION

This course provides professional education in the SHAVAT METHOD™ — Bojin · Fascia · Lymph methodology for wellness and aesthetic practice.

This training programme is an IPHM Approved Training Course.

Participants must be aged 18 or over at the time of booking.

A Professional Practitioner Certificate will be awarded only after successful completion of the required training and competency requirements.

Depending on the programme, these requirements may include:

  • completion of the required training hours;

  • practical training and demonstration;

  • practical competency assessment;

  • theoretical learning or assessment; and

  • case studies or other course requirements where applicable.

Attendance and payment alone do not guarantee certification.

Where further practice, case studies or reassessment are required, certification may be withheld until the required standard has been demonstrated.

Upon successful completion, the certificate provides evidence that the Practitioner has completed the relevant SHAVAT METHOD™ professional training programme and may be presented as evidence of training when applying for appropriate professional and/or treatment liability insurance.

Certification confirms successful completion of SHAVAT METHOD™ training.

It does not constitute a medical qualification, statutory professional licence or qualification in a regulated healthcare profession.

2. PROFESSIONAL INSURANCE & COMMERCIAL PRACTICE

Following successful certification, Practitioners may use their SHAVAT METHOD™ Professional Practitioner Certificate as evidence of completed professional training when applying for appropriate professional and/or treatment liability insurance.

Once appropriate insurance has been obtained and any other applicable professional requirements have been met, Certified Practitioners may incorporate the techniques learned during the course into their own independent professional practice or business and offer the relevant treatments commercially.

However, IPHM course approval and SHAVAT METHOD™ certification do not guarantee acceptance or insurance coverage by any particular insurer, professional association, employer or regulatory body.

Insurance providers remain responsible for their own eligibility, underwriting and coverage decisions.

Before offering the techniques commercially, each Practitioner is responsible for:

  • obtaining appropriate professional and/or treatment liability insurance;

  • providing their certificate and course information to their insurer where requested;

  • confirming that the techniques they intend to provide are covered by their policy;

  • holding any prerequisite qualifications required by their insurer; and

  • practising within their qualifications, competence and insurance coverage.

Practitioners must obtain appropriate insurance before offering the techniques commercially.

3. SCOPE OF PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

Once successfully certified and appropriately insured, Certified Practitioners may incorporate the techniques taught within the course into their own professional treatments and independent business.

Certified Practitioners may accurately describe themselves as:

“SHAVAT METHOD™ Certified Practitioner — [Course Name]”

and may promote and provide the relevant treatments professionally, subject to their qualifications, competence, insurance coverage and applicable professional requirements.

Practitioners are independently responsible for:

  • client consultation;

  • contraindication and precaution screening;

  • obtaining informed consent;

  • maintaining appropriate client records;

  • hygiene and safe working practices;

  • adapting techniques appropriately for individual clients;

  • professional treatment decisions; and

  • appropriate referral to healthcare professionals where necessary.

The course does not qualify participants to diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medical treatment or represent themselves as doctors, physiotherapists or other regulated healthcare professionals unless they separately hold the qualifications and authorisation required to do so.

Practitioners must always work within their professional competence and scope of practice.

4. PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION — NOT INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

Professional Practitioner Certification permits Certified Practitioners to use the techniques learned within their own appropriately insured professional practice or business.

It does not grant Instructor, Trainer or Educator status and does not grant permission to teach or certify others in SHAVAT METHOD™.

Unless separately authorised in writing by Shavat Uplift, Certified Practitioners may not:

  • teach SHAVAT METHOD™ as a professional training programme;

  • issue SHAVAT METHOD™ certificates;

  • organise professional training or certification workshops under the SHAVAT METHOD™ name;

  • reproduce the course or its proprietary teaching materials for commercial teaching;

  • represent themselves as a SHAVAT METHOD™ Instructor, Trainer, Educator or authorised Training Provider;

  • create training substantially reproducing proprietary SHAVAT METHOD™ course materials, protocols or teaching sequences; or

  • authorise another person to teach or certify SHAVAT METHOD™.

Separate written authorisation and, where applicable, an Instructor/Trainer Licence is required to teach the proprietary SHAVAT METHOD™ system.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & TRAINING MATERIALS

SHAVAT METHOD™ course manuals, diagrams, presentations, treatment protocols, proprietary sequences, assessment materials, educational frameworks and other original training resources remain the intellectual property of Shavat Uplift and/or their respective rights holders.

Course materials are provided to participants for their own professional learning and permitted professional practice.

They must not be copied, sold, distributed, reproduced, republished, uploaded or used to create training materials without prior written permission.

Participants may not share substantial proprietary technique sequences, complete protocols or instructional content through:

  • Instagram;

  • TikTok;

  • YouTube;

  • online courses;

  • membership platforms;

  • professional workshops; or

  • other public or commercial channels

without prior written authorisation.

Photography, audio recording or video recording of instructional demonstrations, assessments or substantial portions of proprietary training content is not permitted without prior written approval.

Nothing in these Terms restricts any use that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable law.

6. SHAVAT METHOD™ NAME & BRAND USE

Certification allows Practitioners to accurately state that they have completed the relevant SHAVAT METHOD™ Professional Practitioner Certification and to identify themselves as a Certified Practitioner where appropriate.

Certification does not transfer ownership of the SHAVAT METHOD™ name, branding, logos, course materials or other intellectual property.

Unless separately authorised in writing, Practitioners may not:

  • use SHAVAT METHOD™ or Shavat Uplift as their own business or company name;

  • create a business, website, social-media account or domain that could reasonably imply it is an official SHAVAT METHOD™ branch or training centre;

  • reproduce or modify SHAVAT METHOD™ logos or certification marks without permission;

  • represent themselves as an employee, partner, franchisee or official representative of Shavat Uplift;

  • sublicense SHAVAT METHOD™ intellectual property; or

  • use SHAVAT METHOD™ branding to promote unauthorised training or certification.

Certified Practitioners remain free to operate their own independent business and may accurately reference their SHAVAT METHOD™ certification when promoting services for which they are appropriately qualified and insured.

7. HEALTH, SAFETY & CONTRAINDICATIONS

Participants are responsible for informing the trainer before practical participation of any relevant:

  • medical conditions;

  • circulatory conditions;

  • injuries;

  • pregnancy or breastfeeding;

  • recent surgery;

  • active inflammation or infection; and

  • recent aesthetic or cosmetic procedures.

This may include recent Botox, dermal fillers, thread lifts, laser or energy-based procedures or facial surgery.

Practical participation may be modified or postponed where reasonably appropriate for safety, and medical advice or clearance may be recommended where necessary.

Where we modify or postpone your practical participation for safety reasons under this Section, you will be offered a transfer to another available training date at no additional charge.

If you have a disability or access need, please let us know before the course so that we can discuss reasonable adjustments.

Participants must follow all safety, hygiene and contraindication guidance provided during training.

Participants are also responsible for ensuring that any personal tools used during training are clean, suitable and free from cracks, chips, sharp edges or other damage.

8. BOTANICAL SAFETY & ALLERGIES

Where oils, essential oils, botanical extracts or topical preparations are used during training, participants must disclose known allergies or sensitivities.

Patch testing may be recommended where appropriate.

Participants who are pregnant, breastfeeding, receiving medical treatment or managing a relevant health condition should inform the trainer so that products or practical activities can be adapted where appropriate.

Following certification, Practitioners are responsible for conducting appropriate consultation, allergy and contraindication screening before using botanical products with their own clients.

9. INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Following certification, each Practitioner operates as an independent professional.

The Practitioner is responsible for ensuring that their treatments are:

  • appropriate for the individual client;

  • performed safely and competently;

  • appropriately insured;

  • within their professional scope and qualifications; and

  • compliant with applicable professional and legal requirements.

The Practitioner remains responsible for their own business, clients, treatment decisions, professional conduct and insurance.

SHAVAT METHOD™ certification does not create an employment relationship, partnership, agency, franchise or business partnership between the Practitioner and Shavat Uplift.

Certification does not transfer responsibility for a Practitioner's independent client treatments or business activities to Shavat Uplift, except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. FEES, PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & CERTIFICATION

Summary of Cancellation & Refunds

This summary is provided for clarity.

The full terms in Sections 10.3 to 10.10 apply and will take priority if there is any inconsistency with this summary.

  • During an applicable statutory 14-day Cancellation Period (consumers only), before training has begun: full refund of payments received where the statutory cancellation right applies.

  • More than 14 days before the course start date: refund less reasonable administration or transaction costs actually and reasonably incurred, up to a maximum of 5% of the course fee where permitted by law; or full transfer to another eligible SHAVAT training date.

  • 8–14 days before the course start date: normally a 50% refund, subject to applicable consumer law; or transfer or course credit where available and approved.

  • Within 7 days of the course start date, including same-day cancellation or non-attendance: normally no refund, subject to applicable consumer law and the fairness and proportionality provisions in Section 10.3.

  • If Shavat Uplift cancels the course and does not provide a suitable alternative arrangement: your choice of a full refund of course fees paid or transfer of the full amount paid to another available training date.

Where statutory consumer rights apply, they are not affected by this summary.

10.1 Fees & Payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and are the total price payable.

The Professional Bojin Toolkit is included in the course fee at no additional charge.

Your booking is accepted and a contract is formed when we send you a booking confirmation by email.

The booking confirmation will include a copy of, or otherwise provide these Terms in a form that you can save and retain.

Where a Payment Plan option is offered, this consists of an initial payment payable at the time of booking, followed by a fixed number of scheduled instalments, as displayed at checkout.

The initial payment, total course fee and instalment schedule will be clearly displayed and confirmed at checkout before payment is made.

Instalments are interest-free and involve no additional charges, fees or administrative costs beyond the total course fee stated at the time of booking.

By selecting a Payment Plan, you agree to pay the full course fee in accordance with the payment schedule displayed and agreed at checkout.

A Payment Plan is a method of paying the total course fee by instalments and is not a pay-as-you-attend arrangement.

All instalments must normally be paid in full no later than 20 days before the course start date.

Where a booking is made less than 20 days before the course start date, a Payment Plan may not be available and payment in full may be required at the time of booking.

Where a Payment Plan remains available, the applicable payment schedule will be clearly displayed at checkout.

For Private 1:1 Training, where the training date is arranged individually with the participant, the applicable Payment Plan schedule will be confirmed in writing once the training date has been agreed.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the full course fee must be paid no later than 20 days before the agreed training date.

If the agreed training date falls within 20 days of booking, payment in full may be required at the time of booking.

Where scheduled instalments are collected automatically, they will be charged on the dates shown at checkout using the payment method provided at the time of booking.

Where instalments are collected by payment request, we will send a secure payment link before each due date.

In either case, the participant is responsible for ensuring that each scheduled payment is made on time and that a valid payment method and sufficient funds are available.

All course fees must be paid in full before attendance at the training is permitted.

If a scheduled payment fails or any amount remains outstanding, we may reasonably suspend participation in or access to the training, assessment and/or certification until the outstanding balance has been paid.

Selecting a Payment Plan does not alter any statutory right that applies to the booking or the cancellation, transfer and refund provisions contained in these Terms.

10.2 Certification

Payment and attendance alone do not guarantee certification.

Certification may be withheld until:

  • all required training has been completed;

  • required assessments and/or case studies have been successfully completed;

  • the required competency standard has been demonstrated; and

  • all applicable course fees have been paid in full.

Where additional practice, case studies or reassessment are required, the participant will be informed of the requirements and any applicable fees in advance.

10.3 Participant Cancellation — General Terms

This Section applies subject to Section 10.4 and any statutory consumer rights that apply to the booking.

SHAVAT METHOD™ professional training is delivered in small groups with limited places.

Venue hire, educator time, teaching resources, professional tools and materials may be committed in advance based on confirmed enrolments.

Where a participant cancels after any applicable statutory Cancellation Period has ended, or where no statutory Cancellation Period applies, the following cancellation framework will normally apply.

Where consumer law applies, any amount retained will not exceed an amount that Shavat Uplift is lawfully entitled to retain and will be assessed fairly and proportionately having regard to losses reasonably arising from the cancellation, costs saved as a result of cancellation and reasonable opportunities to reduce those losses.

More than 14 days before the course start date

Participants may cancel and receive a refund of the course fee paid, less any fair and reasonable administration or transaction costs actually and reasonably incurred as a direct result of the booking and cancellation, up to a maximum of 5% of the course fee where permitted by law.

Alternatively, the full amount paid may be transferred as credit towards another eligible SHAVAT training date at no additional administration charge.

8–14 days before the course start date

Cancellations received between 8 and 14 days before the course start date will normally receive a 50% refund of the full course fee.

Where consumer law applies, any amount retained will remain subject to applicable legal requirements concerning fairness and proportionality and will take account of losses reasonably incurred, costs saved as a result of cancellation and reasonable opportunities to fill the cancelled place.

Alternatively, where available and approved by Shavat Uplift, the participant may request a transfer or course credit.

Within 7 days of the course start date

Cancellations made within 7 days of the course start date, including same-day cancellations and non-attendance, are normally non-refundable.

Where consumer law applies, any amount retained will remain subject to applicable consumer law and will not exceed an amount that fairly and reasonably reflects losses arising from the cancellation, taking account of costs saved and reasonable steps available to reduce those losses.

Nothing in this Section excludes or restricts statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10.4 Statutory Consumer Cancellation Rights

This Section applies only where the participant is legally acting as a consumer and the relevant statutory cancellation rights apply to the booking.

For the purposes of applicable UK consumer legislation, an individual is generally a consumer where they are acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

A participant booking wholly or mainly for purposes relating to their existing trade, business, craft or profession may therefore be booking in a business capacity and may not have the statutory consumer cancellation rights described in this Section.

The fact that a course is described as professional training, or that a participant intends eventually to use the skills commercially, does not by itself determine whether that participant is legally acting as a consumer.

The legal status of the booking depends on the circumstances and the main purpose for which the individual enters into the contract.

14-Day Statutory Cancellation Period

Where you are booking as a consumer through a distance or off-premises contract and the statutory cancellation right applies, you normally have the right to cancel the service contract without giving any reason during the statutory Cancellation Period.

For a service contract, that period normally ends at the end of 14 days after the day on which the contract is entered into.

Under Section 10.1, the contract is entered into when we send you our booking confirmation email.

To exercise an applicable statutory cancellation right, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement sent to:

contact@shavatuplift.com

You may use the Model Cancellation Form below, but you are not required to do so.

Where you validly cancel during the statutory Cancellation Period before the training service has begun, we will refund payments received from you in accordance with applicable law, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed of your decision.

The refund will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise.

No administration or transaction fee will be deducted where applicable consumer law requires a full refund.

Training Beginning During the Statutory Cancellation Period

Where you are legally acting as a consumer and your training is scheduled to begin before the end of an applicable statutory 14-day Cancellation Period, Shavat Uplift may begin providing the training during that period only after you have expressly requested early commencement.

This express request and acknowledgement may be obtained through the separate Early Commencement confirmation presented during booking.

If, following your express request, training begins during the statutory Cancellation Period and you subsequently exercise an applicable statutory right to cancel before the training service has been fully performed, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the training service supplied up to the time you inform us of your decision to cancel, as permitted by law.

Once the training service has been fully performed following your express request to begin during the statutory Cancellation Period, and you have acknowledged that your statutory cancellation right will be lost once the service has been fully performed, that statutory cancellation right will end.

Professional Bojin Toolkit

Where a Professional Bojin Toolkit or other physical goods are supplied as part of the booking, any statutory consumer rights applicable to those goods will continue to apply.

Where an applicable statutory cancellation right requires goods to be returned, the participant must return the relevant goods in accordance with applicable law.

Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, the participant will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Where the goods must be returned, we may withhold the applicable refund for the goods until we receive them back or you provide evidence of having returned them, whichever occurs first, to the extent permitted by law.

Where permitted by law, Shavat Uplift may make an appropriate deduction for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

This does not affect statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.

Where the Booking Is Made in a Business Capacity

Where a participant enters into the contract wholly or mainly for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession and is therefore not legally acting as a consumer, the statutory 14-day consumer cancellation right described above does not apply.

In those circumstances, cancellation, refund and transfer rights will instead be governed by the applicable contractual provisions in these Terms, including Section 10.3, together with any other rights that apply by law.

10.5 Course Commencement

Subject always to applicable statutory rights, once face-to-face training has commenced, a participant will not normally be entitled to a refund merely because they change their mind, decide not to continue or decide that the course is no longer personally suitable for them.

Where a statutory cancellation right remains applicable because training began during a statutory Cancellation Period following a consumer's express request, Section 10.4 will apply.

Nothing in this Section affects statutory rights or remedies where services have not been provided with reasonable care and skill, have not been provided as agreed, or where another statutory right or remedy applies.

10.6 Suitability & Learning Support

By registering, participants confirm that they have reviewed the course description, syllabus and any applicable entry requirements.

Advanced professional techniques require practice, and individual learning speed will vary.

A participant finding a technique difficult to master, or deciding after booking that the teaching method or course is not personally suitable for them, does not by itself create an entitlement to a refund beyond any applicable statutory or contractual rights.

Where a participant requires additional support following the training, one complimentary 30-minute online one-to-one follow-up support session may be provided to review techniques, clarify learning points and support continued practice.

Any additional training, mentoring or reassessment beyond this complimentary session may be subject to an additional fee, which will be communicated in advance.

10.7 Transfer to Another Participant

If a participant is unable to attend, they may request to transfer their place to another eligible person provided that:

  • Shavat Uplift is notified at least 48 hours before the course begins;

  • the replacement participant satisfies any applicable course entry requirements; and

  • personalised course resources or materials have not already been prepared in circumstances that reasonably prevent transfer.

Participant transfers are subject to reasonable approval but will not normally incur an additional administration fee.

10.8 Transfer to Another Training Date or Course Credit

Where a participant is unable to attend and a cash refund is unavailable under the applicable cancellation terms, Shavat Uplift may, at its discretion, offer:

  • transfer to another available training date; or

  • course credit towards another eligible Shavat Uplift training programme.

Any transfer or credit is subject to availability and any reasonable conditions communicated at the time it is offered.

Course credit has no cash value and cannot normally be exchanged for cash unless required by law.

Nothing in this Section replaces or restricts a refund or other remedy to which the participant is legally entitled.

10.9 Refund Restrictions

Refund requests will be considered in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

Subject to any statutory rights that apply, a refund may be declined or reduced where:

  • the applicable statutory or contractual cancellation rights have expired;

  • training has already commenced and no applicable cancellation or refund right remains;

  • the participant has already received a refund, chargeback or reimbursement for the same transaction; or

  • there is reasonable evidence of misuse of the booking or refund process.

Where consumer law applies, any deduction or amount retained following participant cancellation will remain subject to applicable requirements concerning fairness and proportionality.

Nothing in this Section limits statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10.10 Cancellation or Rescheduling by Shavat Uplift

Shavat Uplift reserves the right to reschedule or cancel training where reasonably necessary, including because of educator illness, venue issues, insufficient enrolment or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will give participants as much notice as reasonably practicable.

Where Shavat Uplift cancels a course and does not provide a suitable alternative arrangement, participants will be offered the choice of:

  • a full refund of course fees paid, including any administration or booking fee charged directly by Shavat Uplift; or

  • transfer of the full amount paid to another available training date.

Where Shavat Uplift makes a material change to the training date and the participant is reasonably unable to attend the revised date, the participant will be offered an appropriate alternative training date, course credit or a refund of the course fees paid.

Where participants are asked to choose between available options, they should normally notify Shavat Uplift of their preference within 10 days of receiving the cancellation or rescheduling notice.

Failure to respond within that period does not remove any statutory right or remedy that the participant may have.

Shavat Uplift is not responsible for independently booked travel, accommodation or other third-party expenses to the extent permitted by law.

Participants are therefore encouraged to consider flexible or refundable travel and accommodation arrangements where appropriate.

Nothing in this Section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10.11 Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or replace statutory consumer rights or remedies where they apply.

Where there is any conflict between these Terms and a mandatory statutory consumer right, the statutory right will prevail.

The inclusion of consumer-protection provisions in these Terms does not mean that every participant is necessarily legally acting as a consumer.

10.12 Cancellation, Refund & Transfer Requests

All cancellation, refund and transfer requests should be submitted in writing to:

contact@shavatuplift.com

Please include your full name, course title, training date and booking reference where available.

Where a statutory consumer cancellation right applies, a cancellation will not be invalid merely because the participant has not used a particular form of words, provided that they have clearly communicated their decision to cancel in accordance with applicable law.

11. SUSPENSION OR WITHDRAWAL OF CERTIFICATION

Shavat Uplift may suspend or withdraw SHAVAT METHOD™ Practitioner Certification where there is reasonable evidence of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, including:

  • unauthorised teaching or certification;

  • unauthorised reproduction or commercial distribution of proprietary training materials;

  • fraudulent or misleading use of a certificate;

  • materially false representation of certification status;

  • misuse of SHAVAT METHOD™ branding; or

  • conduct directly connected with the certified method that creates a material safety concern.

Any decision to suspend or withdraw certification will be made reasonably and proportionately, having regard to the nature and seriousness of the concern or breach.

Except where urgent action is reasonably required to protect client safety, intellectual property or the integrity of the certification, the Practitioner will normally be informed of the concern and given a reasonable opportunity to respond before a final decision is made.

Where appropriate, Shavat Uplift may consider whether corrective action would reasonably address the concern before certification is permanently withdrawn.

Withdrawal of SHAVAT METHOD™ certification does not remove qualifications independently obtained from other organisations.

Nothing in this Section limits any statutory or contractual right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. LIABILITY

Hands-on practical training may result in temporary responses such as redness, tenderness, mild bruising, soreness or other temporary effects associated with manual techniques.

Participation in practical training is voluntary, and participants are expected to follow all reasonable safety instructions and disclose relevant contraindications.

Subject to applicable law, Shavat Uplift is not responsible for loss, injury or damage to the extent that it results from a participant's:

  • failure to follow reasonable safety instructions;

  • failure to disclose relevant contraindications;

  • unsafe or inappropriate application of techniques;

  • use of techniques outside the scope taught;

  • use of damaged or unsuitable equipment;

  • practice outside their professional competence; or

  • subsequent commercial practice without appropriate insurance.

Following certification, Practitioners remain independently responsible for treatments and services they provide to their own clients.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & RECORDING

Photography or filming may take place during training for educational, archival or marketing purposes where appropriate consent has been obtained.

Consent to identifiable promotional photography or video is separate from agreeing to these Terms.

Participants who do not consent to appearing in identifiable promotional photography or video will not be required to do so.

Participants may share their experience of attending the training on social media.

However, participants may not publish substantial proprietary course materials, complete treatment protocols, instructional demonstrations or technique sequences without prior written permission.

Audio or video recording of instructional demonstrations, assessments or proprietary teaching content is prohibited unless prior permission has been granted.

14. CONFIDENTIALITY

Participants must respect confidential or proprietary information shared during training, including unpublished protocols, assessment materials, manuals, business information and educational resources.

Participants must also respect the privacy of other participants and must not publish another participant's identifiable photographs, videos, health information or treatment discussions without appropriate consent.

Nothing in this Section prevents a participant from exercising a legal right, making a complaint, obtaining legal or professional advice, contacting an insurer or regulator, or making a disclosure that is protected or required by law.

15. COMPLAINTS, ASSESSMENT & REASSESSMENT

Participants who have concerns regarding their training, assessment or certification should contact Shavat Uplift as soon as reasonably possible at:

contact@shavatuplift.com

Complaints will be considered fairly and within a reasonable period.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide information about an appropriate Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider and confirm whether we are required or willing to use that provider.

Where a participant does not initially meet the required certification standard, feedback may be provided together with an opportunity for additional practice, case studies or reassessment where appropriate.

Any additional requirements and any applicable reassessment fees will be communicated in advance before the participant decides whether to proceed.

Nothing in the complaints or assessment process restricts statutory consumer rights or the participant's right to seek independent advice or pursue another remedy available by law.

16. PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will process your personal information, including any health information you disclose under Sections 7 and 8, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

Privacy Policy:

PRIVACY POLICY

Health information is used only to assess safety and adapt practical training. It will not be shared except as described in our Privacy Policy, where necessary to protect your safety, or where required by law.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Where the participant is legally acting as a consumer, nothing in this clause removes any mandatory consumer protection or jurisdictional rights that apply and cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a participant from relying upon any mandatory rights relating to consumer protection, jurisdiction or access to the courts.
